WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Your comprehensive appointment can take up to 1.5 hours.

We know, it seems like a lot. However, this model of care ensures that every woman who walks through our doors is given the time required for us to understand who she is, as a person and a patient. There will be a small form to fill out prior to the appointment, but this will primarily be about demographics .

We’ve found that on average, medical forms are long and tedious, and that the best exchange of information is in the room, when a clinician has the opportunity to listen to a patient tell their story.

Your first comprehensive appointment will involve:

  • Arrival and check-in with our reception

  • A registered nurse will take your vitals and go through some of the details listed on your pre-appointment form. They will use this window of time to get to know you a little better as they will be an important part of your healthcare team moving forward.

  • After your consultation, our nursing team will assist with any pathology tests ordered by your doctor, including blood work, swabs, and ECG.

  • As part of our comprehensive care, we will schedule a complimentary 15-minute follow-up appointment for 7 days later to review your results. During checkout, we'll also help arrange any additional appointments you may need.

  • Following your visit, our concierge team will send you an SMS to establish a direct communication channel for any questions you may have. You'll also receive a detailed letter outlining your next steps in the treatment plan.

We believe there is a direct correlation between longer consultations and improved quality of patient care.

We know that this isn't the norm. Most of us are used to the rush of 10 - 15 min appointments. However, healthcare rarely follows a straight line so we allow the time for thorough check-ins to manage any changes to treatment or preventative measures that will benefit your health long-term.
