Trusted Women’s Health Gynaecologists in Sydney

Evidence-based gynaecology care

Why See a Women’s Health Gynaecologist?

Gynaecological issues are deeply personal and yet too often, women feel brushed off, misunderstood, or uncomfortable seeking care. At Ponti Health, we partner with top gynaecologists in Sydney who understand the nuance of women’s health and prioritise respectful, collaborative care.

A gynaecologist is a specialist doctor focused on reproductive and pelvic health. Whether you’re experiencing painful periods, navigating fertility challenges, or entering perimenopause, our gynaecologists offer medical expertise and emotional care to help you feel seen, safe and supported.

What Can a Women’s Health GP Help With?

Our Sydney gynaecologists diagnose and treat a broad range of reproductive and pelvic health concerns, including:

  • Painful, heavy or irregular periods

  • Endometriosis and adenomyosis

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Fibroids and ovarian cysts

  • Recurrent UTIs or vaginal infections

  • Pelvic pain and painful sex (dyspareunia)

  • Fertility assessments and support

  • Contraception counselling and IUD insertions

  • Cervical screening and abnormal pap smear management

  • Perimenopause and menopause symptom support

  • Postpartum gynaecological issues (prolapse, healing concerns)

  • Vulval skin conditions (e.g. lichen sclerosus)

Our approach is not one-size-fits-all. We aim to understand your body’s story and create a treatment plan that meets your personal needs and goals.

Gynaecologist vs GP or Women’s Health Physio - Who Should I See?

While a women’s health GP is a great first step for many general health issues, a gynaecologist is a specialist in complex or persistent reproductive health concerns especially if symptoms haven’t improved with initial treatment. They can conduct advanced investigations, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions like endometriosis.

At Ponti Health, we believe in team-based care. Your gynaecologist may work alongside our GPs, physiotherapists, and mental health providers to ensure you receive well-rounded support because your body isn’t made up of separate systems, and neither is our care.

Why Choose Ponti’s Women’s Health Gynaecologists?
