REMS - Bone Health Innovation For Early Detection
We are proud to offer the first medically led REMS bone health scanning service in Australia. This innovative, radiation-free technology provides an accurate and reproducible bone health assessments with insights on bone microarchitecture.
What is REMS?
REMS (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry) is a cutting-edge technology used to assess bone density and bone quality (Fragility Score). REMS provides summary information about bone micro-architecture in the form of a clinically validated Fragility Score, offering valuable insights beyond simple density measurements.
Unlike traditional DXA scans, REMS is completely radiation-free, making it a safe option for all individuals, including younger women and those who may require more frequent monitoring.
