Lara Boielle is a Naturopath and Clinical Sexologist with over 16 years of experience and a clinical passion for midlife women’s health. Her integrative practice supports women through the complexities of perimenopause and beyond—addressing menstrual irregularities, thyroid and metabolic health, PCOS, fatigue, sleep issues, mood changes, low libido, and vaginal health.

As a trained Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, Lara also offers specialised couples therapy. Using the Gottman Method and attachment-based principles, she helps individuals and partners navigate emotional disconnection, communication breakdowns, and intimacy concerns, particularly as they arise during the hormonal transitions of midlife.

Lara blends natural medicine, including nutritional therapy, herbal support, and lifestyle medicine, with psychosexual care to address both physical symptoms and the emotional-relational terrain that underlies them. Her approach is deeply compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based.

“At the heart of my work is a safe, respectful space where women can reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their health, and remember their worth.”

Lara’s own lived experience with endometriosis, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and early perimenopause fuels her deep empathy for the women she works with.

“I refused to ‘suck it up’—and I want other women to know they don’t have to either.”

She intimately understands the impact of hormonal upheaval on energy, sexuality, body image, sleep, and identity. This led her to retrain in psychosexual therapy and complete a Masters in Sexology, evolving her practice into what is now a deeply integrative, mind-body approach to sexual and hormonal health.

Outside the clinic, Lara finds joy in movement—Pilates and strength training are her personal anchors. She’s nourished by ocean swims, dancing, music, and soulful travel. She believes playfulness, novelty, and connection are the lifeblood of midlife vitality.

“I’m endlessly inspired by the neuroscience of connection—how intimacy, trust, and safety shape our nervous system, our hormones, and our relationships.”

  • What began as my own healing journey evolved into a deep commitment to empowering women facing similar challenges. Through my experience with chronic insomnia, anxiety, diminished libido, and unexpected weight changes, I refused to simply "suck it up." Instead, I was determined to redefine what this life stage could mean - not just for myself, but for every woman I could reach.

I've witnessed too many women having their health and sexual concerns dismissed or met with silence. This fuelled my determination to create a space where women can openly address their wellbeing without judgment, with real solutions at hand.

My advanced studies culminated in a Masters of Sexology, evolving my practice as an Integrative Psycho-sexologist. This allows me to address not only sexual health, but the intricate interplay of hormones in overall wellbeing during life transitions.

My approach is deeply rooted in compassion, acknowledging the complex web of each woman's journey. Having walked this path myself, I understand the multifaceted nature of these challenges intimately.

I believe complete wellbeing requires holistic solutions that address the physical, emotional, sexual, and relational dimensions of health.

I'm truly committed to helping women live their most fulfilling life.

"I’m deeply curious about the intersection between the body, mind, and relationships. Outside of work, you’ll often find me in or by the ocean, it's where I feel most grounded, clear, and free. I find joy in movement, especially Pilates and strength training, which have become essential tools in my own midlife health journey. I’m nourished by dancing, music, and travel, and I believe keeping novelty and playfulness alive is vital to our sense of wholeness. I’m also constantly inspired by the neuroscience of connection and how it informs our relational, sexual, and emotional well-being."
