I understand that Ponti Health is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

By selecting "I agree" below, I acknowledge that I consent to Ponti Health collecting, using, disclosing, storing, and disposing of my personal information for the purposes outlined in Ponti Health's Privacy Policy.

This includes, but is not limited to: information to enable me to be attended to by medical practitioners to provide medical services and treatment, the release of relevant personal information to doctors and employees of the clinic and other health professionals to allow quality medical care and administration purposes, and inclusion in a recall register to be advised of follow up visits, medical updates and health information. I understand that I may withdraw my consent for Ponti Health to use and disclose my personal information (except when legal obligations require it).

We are aware that life happens. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us so we can contact the next person on our waitlist.

Cancellation/Rescheduling: 24 hours’ notice

To ensure that all patients receive the care they deserve, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

What to expect

If you arrive up to 15 minutes late, we'll still see you, although your appointment may be shortened to respect the scheduled times of other patients. The full consultation fee applies regardless of the appointment length, as your time slot remains reserved for you.

No-Show Policy

If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without providing prior notice, you'll be charged the full consultation fee. Additionally, we'll require a deposit before booking your next appointment.

  • We assess and respond to referrals in 4 business days. You will see a Psychiatrist in 3-4 weeks.

  • Card only transactions are accepted, and all appointments must be paid on the day at the completion of your appointment in full.  Your consent forms will provide a range of appointment and treatment fees you will be charged.

  • From time to time, our fees may increase. We kindly ask that you keep your contact details up to date so we can notify you of any changes. 

  • If you can’t make your appointment we require 24 hours notice so we can accommodate another patient, and we’ll find a time that suits you better.

  • Yes, a valid referral is required to see a psychiatrist.

    • Referrals from a GP are valid for 12 months from the first date of use.

    • Referrals from a specialist are valid for 3 months from the first date of use.

    You will need to renew your referral as needed to ensure it remains current at all times.

  • No, you do not need a referral to see our Mental Health GP's. 

  • The Mental health GP cannot prescribe the initial dose however can prescribe subsequent doses once given authority from your psychiatrist.

    If you are moving from another specialist and need an ADHD medication script, please supply a letter from your previous specialist stating your current medication and dosing to provide authorisation.
